Well a great show today! When I pulled in and registered as car #248 they were still rolling in and started filling the 2nd lot. Had to be about 350 plus cars and quite a few more scattered throughout the grounds/parking area. Had to be maybe 40 Mustangs and no one from here? Oh well.

Hey from your post not sure which gauge it is your trying to install? The temp gauge is tricky, I will look at my V6 and see what might work. As for oil, is it a temp gauge or pressure? There too it is going to be difficult to find a good spot. I will do some investigating and get back to you...

Noise could be from one part, try alternator first (at Advance or Autozone they should be able to test it out for FREE!) if it makes noise when tested then problem solved, if test is good no need to replace it unless test shows low voltage output, then try tensioner next but remember to get new...

Welcome to NYMustangs! As far as the motor work your doing, it's way more work than just heads. Timing chains on each side have to be set so valves don't crash. Look for more info from threads on here.
