Yeah, I know the feeling. I put a $100 fuel pump in my car which needed a $240 BAP. Then, it didn't work properly so I bought the correct tank and pumps for $550. :smash:

If it is coming from the rearend, I would have to assume it is the diff.

I don't know how to do it without a laptop though. With a laptop you can log 20 parameters, without the laptop you can only log 5. I can't figure out how though. Hopefully you have or have access to a laptop?

No problem bubba. I had my xcal for over a year before I learned how to datalog. Took me a while to figure it out and some time searching the internet, but now I use it quite a bit. I even have tuning done via email through datalogging. I have learned quite a bit since. If you decide to try it...

I would think not unless they were installed wrong. I have never installed gears but I am sure if they are shimmed wrong or the backlash is way off, (although you would hear it), I don't see why they couldn't fail after 55k miles. I blew my stock diff after only 70k miles. They were hard miles...
