Interesting build with putting a mod motor in a fox, should be pretty nice when you're done! Some places, make a arms that are moved back an inch, or they use spacers with them. I can't remember where I've heard about them, probably on a forum somewhere.

I would just see that short block is alright first and then go from there. A 150 shot of nitrous and a s/c with a decent hci won't last too long with the stock block, unless you were thinking about nitrous and then switching to a s/c. What ets did the previous owner get with the combo that's on...

Well you could probably take the short block apart, and send the bare block to a machine shop and have them look it over and they can tell you what it needs. I don't really know much about that cam, I'm pretty sure Dave knows, lol.

A 306 is a 302 bored over .30. I wouldn't get it bored over unless it needs it. It really depends on what your budget is. A 347 would need a new rotating assembly, plus all of the machine work, and a good h/c/i with the supporting mods. Do you already have the ported gt40p heads or were you...
