Tracy, make sure your body shop does a REAL good job of matching that silver. The body shop that did my old GT rear bumper didn't get it quite matched up right. Always hated it was a shade off.

Without the rear axle, I am sure there are ways of supporting the body of the vehicle for storage and transporting to different places. I would ask around, I am sure somebody has done something similar.

Too bad to hear that. Had a similar situation with my 2000 GT but it was tranny related. If you don't mind the wait and have room for storage, I would offer a part-out of the car to the folks here and when the part-out is over, send it to the yard. Good luck!
