I hear ya lol, there aren't a whole lot of good shops that close to us that can do that kind of stuff lol ... The closest that I would trust is probably Evolution Performance in PA or maybe JDM in Jersey but I have been hearing some iffy things about their reputation lol.
I knew the X-pipes were different but I thought the V6s had a flange of some sort to expand the end of the OA pipe. Interesting
Is that new? I know a couple of people who use the Brenspped tunes and have gotten charged for it. I know that everyone over at Brenspeed does a damn good job though...
Yeah, Throttle Body Spacers make good paper weights and that is about it lol.
The biggest bang for your buck on the V6 Mustangs are going to be a good CAI/Tune combo and gears. IMO Gears would be the first move to do because those 2.73 just won't cut it, hell even my V6 has 3.31 but thats what...
Looks like a fun time!! I may have to make the excursion up there next year lol
Whos Red POS fox is this :p I am not normally afox body fan but yours and Dave's look :awesomework:
Now those are some seriosus driving shoes lol
Honestly the Throttle Body isn't going to gain you much if any HP maybe 1 or3 HP. The stock TB is well designed and flows enough CFMs to support the power you are going to make on the 3.7 with simple bolt-ons.
I would skip the JLT CAI, while it does look nice I personally see some issues with...
Just for ease of removal it is recommended that you should change your plugs every 10,000-15,000 miles.
COngrats on getting them all out in 1 piece!! I know quiet a few people that ended up with 16 plugs after they were done doing this LMAO
I would soak them in PB blaster and let it soak in over night for safe measures and then when you are ready to go slowly work the spark plug back and forth. Loosen it until you hear it screech and then tighten it a bit. It is a pain in the ass and VERY slow going but it sure beats the hell out...
You don't really have to unless the bearings and clutch plates in your rear end are shot but for the extra 50 bucks I would rather have the peace of mind knowing that everything in my rear end is new and won't break. Don't forget we have a discount with American Muscle.
2.3 Whipple at 8-10psi would net you those goals plus it looks a hell of a lot better then a blow drier sitting under the hood of your car. With a few suspension mods and DRs you can get into 11s and with slicks mid 11s.
