    That seems to be the internet consensus, Ford Racing tune, or nothing, if warranty is an issue, which it is to me, since I don't want to have to pay for broken parts. :)

And thanks to everyone who replied, especially since this is Easter Sunday, and most of you, unlike me, probably have lives. lol I would someday like to do a CAI, maybe a catback exhaust, a gear change, etc, but I would really hate to be on the hook for a $6k motor or trans on a brand...

    Since he wants the manual trans, he can probably get a non Premium GT for about 27k before the 3k. That's what I looked at first, but I wanted an auto, and the dealer I was at only had a GT Premium in auto.

    My brand new, 5.0 auto, GT Premium was $33k. I think that is more than reasonable for what I got. You might want to go that route.
