they both work fine i am just not sure how you would do that and the only reason i took them out was because i put new speakers in and just ran new speaker wire from the head unit

I did it today guys and it was surface rust and most of it came off. i just used a brillo and scrubbed the shit out of it, but thanks for all your help you guys are great!
