does a higher tread wear rating means they will wear out slower? I need new tires and I want them to last at least about 30,000 miles

so I have to replace two sensors? The guy said the temp sensor is 35 bucks and the total would be around 200 bucks.

It came up to be the transmission temperature sensor and I need to get the oil change for it since they are dropping the pan and replacing the gasket also. Anyone know how much those sensors usually cost?
