I used an alignment tool to put the clutch on. If the clutch and pressure plate were not aligned wouldn't the noise go away when the clutch is pressed in or when it isn't pressed at all? How was your pressure plate rubbing on the bell housing? Did you have the wrong one? I kept all the same...
