I had a set of Ebay seats once but never had a crash when I had them so I cant tell you how safe or unsafe they are :D I can tell you that they were comfortable and much lighter than stock seats. The fabric they use is cheap, so it looks cheap and feels cheap but other than that never had any...

a good, economical way to go is to find a used set from a 03/04 Cobra (39lbs) which can be found relatively cheap and will work perfect for your setup.
