Well I did it. I installed the rear 275/40/17 Toyos today and it looks nice. I had the shop measure the rim and it is a 9 inch so they fit nicely. I guess these are a variation of the cobra rim.

Humm I found a posting that Chuckie B has 275 on his rear and it does not look to bulge at all which is why I think it may be a 17x9 rim? I wonder if it's safe?

I installed Toyo Proxes 4 about 6 months ago and love them. they are a bit expensive but worth it. Very smooth ride and nice grip

What springs and shocks do you recommend for my convert? I don't want too much of a drop. Once lowered, I would like to push the wheels out a little mostly the back with some wheel spacers or is there a better way to go? Also, how much? Thanks
