    2nd gear synchros?

    I'm guessing that the synchros are bad. Pulling hard from 1st and shifting into 2nd it will grind, easy shifting it will go in fine. Sometimes it will just grind for a milli second but will go in, other times it won't go in at all and have to shift in neutral unclutch and clutch back into 2nd...

    Clutch pops

    so i have an 86 lx with i think a non world class t5, and probably stock clutch.. it grinds going into 2nd gear hard but otherwise shifts fine... the clutch whistles when not engaged but if you just slightly press the pedal (not even going in deep enough to engage clutch) it stops whistling...
