A little late , but I hammer and dolly all the small holes and weld them. All Metal is a great product to go over welds and small holes before the Tiger hair/duraglass. ScottRods panells took just over 3 weeks to ship to us around Thanksgiving, madeit easier, but was TO'd about the wait.
This is great advice, and I completely agree. And yes, cam lift has very little to to with P/V clearance, Lobe seperation and over all cam timing events dictate P/V clearance, which should always be checked.
