Or another idea could be rt off the parkway is floydd bennet field where u gave plenty of parking and is rt off the highway nice cruise from li with no hassle. Just an idea for u.

Belt parkway would be best bet . Not going through city. From there u can park on the Brooklyn side of the bridge with no hassle also there is restaurants there where u can eat and chill.
