yea getting better gears will help u get into the powerband quicker n get u out of the 2krpm drone range, or u can switch out ur mufflers.

Yea I think I'm going with the magnaflows with the pypes x. I like flowmasters on the old school mustangs, on the newer ones it just doesn't sound as good.

I :knock on wood: have not had this problem. Was looking to get a new battery n an aftermarket system in the near future anyway. Although I have noticed an occasional ticking sound recently.

OK well either way the x-pipe (V6 or 8) has 2 inlet/outlet openings, hence X-pipe. I think i have it nailed down, u have a 04 V6 n wanted a dual exhaust so u bought Flowmaster V6 dual but not the complete conversion kit which comes with the x-pipe, rather u got the one that keeps it factory with...

OK so u bought a V6 Flowmaster (cat-back? Dual or sinlge?) but an O/R V8 x-pipe instead of the V6 O/R x-pipe. Just trying to piece everything together.
