I guess I could try that, it doesn't hesitate though and I am assuming the same thing... once a piston hits the valve the valve would break but they didn't cause i checked when i took it apart. Could it just be really noisy valve train? Like the valves coming back into the head slapping...

Where can you get the vinyl overlays? I may just try that and I assume you can just do that with the lights on the car anyway which is easier too.

Should I tint my lights or just buy blacked out headlights and tail lights? What do you all think? Would it look good being a torch red mustang or keep stock? Looking for something different and thought it may look good. BTW still working on the cams, finally back at it today.

Never had an issue with O/R midpipes, just make sure the check engine light is off. It may just be luck but I have never actually had a place look under my car especially if its a newer car.

I have my heads off and wanna clean them out throughly, what should I use to do this? I don't have a parts cleaner or anything so any suggestions? I was going to just use WD40 and wipe it all off with a micro fiber towel. Thanks.

Sweet, glad I don't have to fight to get this motor out. If I had the right tools dropping the motor is pretty easy but I don't.

Can the head of a 2v be removed with the motor in the car or are the head studs to long? I haven't really come across too much about this except one small post where they said the motor has to come out. Anyone have any info on this?

Yeah I have also read about just the Intake valves being an issue, but I am pissed that the owner said there would be no PTV issue and now I have to spend ANOTHER $141 on valves. I think if they stand behind their product they should send me them! Not to mention now my car won't be done until...

I really can't catch a break. For some reason the bolt hole used to hold the cam sprocket to the cam is bigger so the stock bolt will not work! The crank bolt which is a little bigger than the cam bolts fits perfectly but EVERYWHERE I went today they didn't have it because its a pretty uncommon...

Finally got all the springs changed. I didn't work on her all week cause of work and I was waiting on a new valve spring compressor that worked AMAZING. I changed 10 springs within 2 1/2 hours. Tomorrow I can finally start putting it back together :-)

Well I am at a standstill, the POS valve spring compressor is the worst tool ever designed and made. Maybe tomorrow I can find a better one but if not it won't be done until mid week or next weekend :-(

MIL eliminators???? I have had an O/R x on my cars and never failed inspections. They never look underneath the car.
