What should I do to my stang

What gears are you running, and did you get a tune to properly adjust everything? I honestly would maybe do a cold air intake and exhaust. You really can't get to much power out of those 4.0s unelss you use a power adder.

    Winter storage?

Jackstands are a good idea, but my Mustang sat for over a year in the garage and never fat spotted the tires. Plus I am not a fan of leaving a car up in the air for that long

Thinking of an auto to manual conversion?

I would sell the car and buy an Automatic. I was thinking of the opposite and it's just an headache. You will need the trans (who knows if its good or not), trans cross member, might need the pedal assemly, trans harness, computer, tune, radiator, etc.... I'm not saying it can't be done, but...

looking at a 98 gt need some help on it

They can be great buys, you are correct. I bought mine right, and it has been a great car. I was just simply stating that If I could do it all over again, I would have gotten a 99+GT, Cobra or Mach 1. A 15.0 1/4 isn't really lightning fast here.

looking at a 98 gt need some help on it

It all depends on the maitnance record and if the car was well taken care of. I have a 1997 GT I bought when I was 18 because of the price was right and they are pretty easy to work on. If I had to do it all over again, I would have saved for a 96-98 Cobra. The 96-98s GT's are kind of turds...

    Winter Storage Question

All I do when I store a car is: -Wash/Wax vehicle -Fill up gas tank and put in Sta-bil -Disconnect the Battery -Throw a car cover on it You can put the car up on jackstands to prevent that, but I have never flat spotted my tires in storage and my 97GT sat for almost a year once. Hope this helps.
