Just got mine a couple days ago. Called dealer. They said the more humid states are getting priority. So they setup an appointment in order to be able to order the part. Now I wait for the part to actually show up. So call your dealer "without delay" :)

I believe it took almost two weeks for window sticker to appear after I got my VIN. I just checked every morning until it was there.

That is a tough call. I lean towards #2 , especially if the engine is already out. With the suspension work you will be trying to play around the shock tower area, and with the engine in, you will probably fine the exhaust manifolds being in your way. Plus, what if you end up trying to weld...

That's strange. I wonder if there is wiring in there and maybe a connecter near there. Maybe it 'pulled' on a wire/connector and caused the bad reading. I think the seat bottom is fairly easy to pop out. If so, I'd take it off and look under it.
