Stang is in the shop......

Well the Stang finally went into the shop to get it's brand new vert top. I took some before pics and will post after once they replace it. Hopefully will have it tomorrow.

I know. The guy that owned the car before me let it sit for 12 years. I have all kinds of cleaner's.

I am having it done at Carl's auto in Rochester NY. I dont know NYC that good so I could not recomend a shop. The total cost is around $1107.00 Well I contacted my insurace company and they paid for 607.00 and I have to pay the rest. I looked around for a while and found them.

I would get a black top, looks better than white IMO.

That was actually the first words that came out the guys mouth was " you want a black top right?" I thought about black, but white interior, black top, teal color car. I have seen the same car with the setup and NO thanks. Ugly. I guess my car and year with my current color setup is rare.

It ripped while we were putting it up and they said they would take care of it.

With that interior you gotta have a white top. I had a '70 vert same color scheme and with a new white top it'll look awesome.

Just got the car back. I have to go home from work and then I'll get some pics.

Finally the new top is on. It felt like a brand new car. I love it. Probably will get the seat's done next spring.
