Capital District - Who wants to go to MCA's Mustangs on the Niagara

Hey everyone. This show is a pretty big deal for Western NY. I will be attending and am hoping some others from our area would like to come out as well. I have reached out to Jeff ('08StangGT) who is now the MCA rep for the ASMC. He has a group of 6 cars plus myself that will cruise out together on Thursday. He has about 4 rooms left at the host hotel which is sold out. If the club does not use them by 03/01, he has offered to give them to NYM. :awesomework: So if you are interested, please see link. Registration has a deadline of 04/17. If you do not want to join MCA, you can choose the display only option (which is what I did). I plan to attend the BBQ on Friday, unfortunately the cruise to Niagara Falls is sold out. Come on guys, who wants to join?? :headbang:

First time EVER a national show has been held in Upstate NY, this show is the KING of all Mustang shows, the best of the best around the US and Canada will be there

Thinking about going, but there doesn't seem to be much info on the moshoto, facebook, or club website.

It doesn't say what day(s) the show is on. The only schedule I could piece together was:

Friday
  • Cruise (SOLD OUT)
  • BBQ Buffet (Lunch or Dinner?)

Saturday
  • Banquet at the Pierce Arrow Museum (Dinner)

Sunday
  • ?

And then a 3 day admission to the park at which it's being held.

If I knew of a schedule of events I'd be better prepared to plan on taking a day off from work to make it a nice Sat/Sun in the area.

The show is on Sunday. I believe the BBQ is for lunch but not 100% sure. I don't know the times for anything. Perhaps Tracy or Dave could chime in as they have been in close contact with the show committee. Hope you can go!

The show is all three days. Each day has its highlight.
The cruise to Niagara Falls on Friday is open to anyone but the preregistration was for an actual parking spot on Goat Island. We are looking at parking options for anyone that cruises along to the falls that did not get a spot. There isn't much right at the park on the US side. There are a few lots around the area and even a Hard Rock Cafe Restaurant. For anyone that has never been to the falls there is a ton more on the Canadian side to see and do. Look up Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls Ontario for more info.
The barbecue is also Friday.
Saturday is the banquet after the show. They have it listed as a cruise to the museum and then dinner. This is another site to see. There is a link here,

There will be more information as the show gets closer. Final details day by day are getting set up. There will be security on site so cars can be left on site. Also working on transportation back to the hotels & to show throughout the weekend.

Alright, if that's the case I'll most likely sign up over the weekend. I'll plan to be around Saturday and Sunday. I've got some family in Buffalo, so it'll make for a nice weekend.

Probably should re-up my MCA membership while I'm at it, may be buying a truck at the end of the year and the x-plan alone is worth the membership fee.

I believe a passport is required to venture to Canada and I think it takes at least 6 weeks to process.

That is awesome! Me too. I should be able to get back home at a decent hour then. Any idea what time the show ends on Saturday usually? Was kinda hoping for a chill day at the pool.

I would recommend to anyone considering attending the show to snatch up these rooms. The show discount rate has been sold out and the rate now is 199.00 a night. So this is a bargain to reserve these rooms in your personal name at the discount rate

Emails made it out, main event seems to be Saturday.

Anyone else been to a MCA event? Do we really have to stay till 5 even if we're not judged?
