THANKS TO ALLL i have a question... i changed the steering pump cause it was making noise when i would turn.... so i got a new one and its still making noise.... could it be the belts to loose should i buy a BRAND NEW pump.. idk

I just replaced my ps pump 2 weeks ago. When the pumps are new (refurbished) the will have noise untill the break in. I think it said like 500 miles of break in or something. I put Lucas Oil fluid in after i blew out all of the old fluil with low pressure. PS pump quieted down after 30 minutes of driving. If you are using an old pump and it is still making the noise the pump is going or you coule possibly need to bleed out the air. Jack the car up so both wheels are off the ground and turn the wheel from stop to stop back and fourth. This will help bleed the air out of the system. GL
