my '69 Mach 1 428 SCJ 4spd......ALL ORIGINAL drivetrain...date code matching 428SCJ motor, top loader, and 9" 31 spline 3.91 rearend!!!!

You had some nice rides... that '69 Mach 1 with the 428 must have been a monster! My dad's looking for a 428 to replace the 351 in his Mach 1.

They are pretty expensive! In reality he would be better off building a stroker with his 351, the big blocks are REALLY heavy. My car was a low option car with manual steering and no power brakes. Original owner got as little options as possible and was more concerned with just straight line performance! lol

Yeah, I've been telling him that a 408 would be nasty. He's got the lower output 351, the one with the 2 barrel carb, and a lower c/r. I think he was thinking about finding a 428 in craigslist or something, I don't know. Course, its in the process of being restored for a while now, and it might find the light of day next year.

my 98 GT..the only SN95 I had..this car was NASTY dirty when I got it Scott can attest to that. It was totally different car after I spent a day cleaning just the inside! The outside was nasty from sitting under trees or something too.

after I went through it.....

I added a new real leather shift boot and a Hurst ball shift knob....installed a JVC deck while keeping MACH 460 working properly...

Engine bay after I detailed it and swapped out the BBK intake for an AEM...I hated the chrome and it necked down anyways...AEM makes more power....

I also added a Steeda clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster....

at the track......

I ran a 14.28@97.5 with it..... stock 2.73 gears still!!!!
