What O/R X is better?

I am planning on getting one very soon possibly ordering it next week. I was looking at Magnaflow since I have Magnaflow catbacks and since it is 1 piece but I know Bassani is a very popular one. What is everyone elses opinions?

I highly recommend looking into American Racing Headers products, their system did wonders for my car.

I have Bassini X. All high end Stainless Steel, all SS not equal. You will also need one 02 sensor extender. I have an extra (sold in pairs) if you need. My Basins came w/ Hi-Flo cats & straight sections if you dont want to run cats. X-pipe will give more HP on top end & H-pipe will give more low end (so Im told).

Just because an X will generally sound more "raspy" it really depends on the combination of the entire exhaust from headers to tail pipe.

What is better as far as headers? Long tube or shorties? And I can only use certain mid-pipes depending on the headers I get? I plan on finishing the exhaust after I lower it this winter if the funds are good enough haha

Long tube headers will add a lot more horsepower than shorty headers. And if you were to buy long tube headers, then you need a shorty mid-pipe, vice versa

So the bassani mid pipe thats like 5 pieces can be used for either correct?

If you go long tubes then your headers have to come off any time you do ANY tranny/clutch work.

i have kooks longtubes and had the tranny out twice with the headers left in place

Well besides putting a new clutch in this fall I don't plan on doing any tranny work till I can afford a full build up of my engine and tranny. So that shouldn't be a problem. (knock on wood)
