Hennessey released details for the HPE700 package for the Mustang Boss 302 last month, and it looks like they have been having some fun with the car at their in-house drag strip in Texas. The company had previously tested their HPE650 model and recorded a 1/4 mile run of 11.9 seconds @ 124 mph. That test was done with the stock tires, however, and for the HPE700 Hennessey strapped on a set of racing slicks to deal with the extra horsepower.
The added grip seems to have done the trick, as the supercharged Boss 302 conquers the 1/4 mile in 10.92 seconds @ 130.9 mph. You can see the list of upgrades for the HPE700 Boss 302 and a video of the 1/4 mile run below.
