Portland filmmaker Cody Liesinger has gone to a great effort to show his love for the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. He’s produced a beautiful short film entitled ‘The Boss’ using cut scenes of his father’s all original bright yellow 1970 Boss 302 and historic footage of Parnelli Jones’ legendary championship-winning race car.
We shot most of the footage with a 5D, and some with a 7D. I used Final Cut to edit, and finished with Color. As far as audio, we shot the entire thing MOS. I added the voice and engine audio after the fact from a few various vintage videos. And I bought the score off a stock site.
