turn signal slow

Hey guys, another ques. I can't seem to find in the manual how to fix a slow blinking turn signal. It does mention a relay of some sort. BUt doesn't mention slow blinking. Is that it and if so where can I find it in auto and what does it look like? Signals are so slow(Yaaaaaaawwwwwnnn).

I would check the flasher unit, depending on what year your car is on my 69 Coupe it was mounted to one side of the radio behind the dash in a metal clip, according to my wiring book on the 65/66 it is behind the dash up by the l/s vent & the wiring comes off the main harness. Hope that helps.

+1 Flasher.
The way they work is they build up a charge and then release. So the "wiring"/"capacitor" in your is warning out.

The blinker fluid is low......lol just kidding.
I agree with the flasher being the most likely culprit. Like Mike65 said it should be behind the radio on a clip. Put a nice electronic flasher in there. It will outperform and outlast the typical "capacitor resistor" flasher.
