Roush has announced a new Phase 1 supercharger kit for the 2011+ Ford Mustang GT. The Phase 1 system is available as a complete kit (Part# 421388) as well as an upgrade kit (Part# 421387) for those owners who currently have the standard Roush system. Thanks to a new Roush calibration and higher boost levels from a smaller pulley, the Phase 1 supercharger system delivers a tire-melting 575 horsepower and 505 lb-ft torque, greater low end torque and increased throttle response for better off-the-line performance.
The Roush 2011-2013 5.0L Ford Mustang Phase 1 Calibrated Supercharger Kit is part of the TVS (Twin Vortices Series) line of superchargers developed by Roush that have raised the bar for performance and reliability. This is the same supercharger line that has been used and proven for years in Roush-built Mustangs. The Roush R2300 supercharger features Eaton’s new rotating assembly with cutting-edge TVS technology that delivers more power and better fuel economy in a smaller package for uncompromising performance.
The Roush Phase 1 Mustang supercharger kit is protected by a limited parts warranty (Roush supplied parts), which is for 3 years or 36,000 miles from retail purchase date. An optional 3 year/36,000 mile complete powertrain warranty is also available, which is for 3 years or 36,000 miles from the original Ford vehicle in-service date.
