Rev up your engines! This year’s Playland Car & Truck Show will feature an exciting lineup of muscle, restored and custom vehicles on Sunday, October 4, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,at the park in Rye.
The show will feature displays of a wide variety of classic and collectible cars, street rods, motorcycles and vintage trucks, all carefully restored to mint condition or modified for performance. New to this year’s event will be cash prizes for the inaugural First Deuce Round Up and the First Willy’s Round Up. Entertainment will be provided by vocalist Jackie DiMaggio.
The Westchester Street Rod Association will present more than 100 trophies to the best vehicles. For information on entering a car or bike, call (914) 946-3198 or (914) 632-7956.
DeDona Enterprises will sponsor an exhibition of classic and custom trucks, featuring the “kings of the road” from past and present. For information about participating as a truck show exhibitor, call (914) 965-4444.
Display cars, trucks and motorcycles can be registered between 8 a.m. and 12 noon for a fee of $20 per vehicle.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing or selling old, classic or collectible automobiles will be able to meet with other potential buyers or sellers throughout the event.

Admission is free for spectators. There is a parking fee of $5 per car. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.
