While there was no big news for the Ford Mustang at this year’s LA Auto Show – last year the 2013 Mustang, Boss 302 and Shelby GT500 made their debut – there were still plenty of Blue Oval pony cars out in force on the show floor. In the Ford booth the entire 2013 Mustang lineup was on display with the exception of the Boss 302, perhaps because the model is being dropped for the 2014 model year. Both Shelby and Saleen brought out there wares as well, with the companies showing off their latest offerings. Big news came from Saleen in particular, who announced they will be once again producing a 351ci Mustang, although it was sadly absent from the show floor. Finally, there were plenty of Mustangs on display in the aftermarket section of the show, from the 2013 Mustang RTR Spec 3 to Galpin Auto Sports’ widebody Mustang Boss 302.
