
The largest Mustang show in Southern California might be Fabulous Fords at Knotts, but for us nothing beats the setting of Mustangs at the Queen Mary. Put on by the Beach Cities Mustang Club and set alongside the picturesque Long Beach harbor with the famous retired cruise ship floating nearby and the city skyline in full view, the show always boasts beautiful weather and several hundred high quality classic and late model Mustangs strewn across the grassy park. This year was no different, with the event celebrating its 16th year this past weekend.
At previous shows vendors have taken the opportunity to show off their latest wares, and this year both Roush and Vaughn Gittin Jr. brought out the latest versions of their cars. A duo of Roush’s 2013 Stage 3 Mustang were on display, and Gittin, who will be fighting to win his second Formula Drift championship in a few weeks, was in attendance to sign autographs and show off his 2013 Mustang RTR.
