For sale one Mallory Max-Fire distributor for a Ford 351w. Part number 1255404. This distributor has a complete hi capacity CD ignition build into it. I used it in my turbocharged 351, but it can be used naturally aspirated as well.. This distributor can be programmed on a computer, you plot your timing curves, max RPM, vacuum advance, and boost retard value. The distributor was gone through by Mallory this last summer, and works great. It comes with all computer communication cables, power and coil wires, 9 volt battery adapter so you can program it with your desk top computer them install in the car, no lap top needed, software disk, new cap and rotor, and instructions with some of my notes. It also has a steel roller cam gear(for roller cam use) on the distributor. It can also be also be used with no computer by using the dip switches. Everything is explained in the instructions. Feel free to ask any questions. I am switching to a big block, that is why I am selling this distributor.
