Hey Guys,

Alright, well I was trying to plan ahead to find a place to get the car aligned after lowering it with the Steeda Ultralite's and putting the new Tokico shocks+struts on.

However, I called a few places and some told me fairly decent prices like 59.99 or 69.99 etc...

The one shop I called said that I MUST get a four wheel alignment and they wanted to charge me $128.99 for it :nono:... I did not believe that you could do a four wheel alignment on GT's only Cobras with an IRS Suspension...:smash:

What do you guys think, am I being taken advantage of?? and have any recommendations of where to take it?

if they are going to adjust your rear pinion angle (if you have adj UCA or LCA) and the axle position (if you have a adj panhard) then yes its a good idea and worth the $

the one for over $120 might include free lifetime alignment for as long as u own the car...ask them

you can only align the rear if you put adjustable parts on it.

He said that the stock rear was able to be aligned.. and he also did tell me when I called him back that it's a one time alignment- they do not offer free alignments.

Get aligned you need it for sure... Prokit killed my tires just had to buy some new ones... Watch you toe but I also have 20s

When I spoke with Steeda, they definitely recommended that you go in for an alignment! Let me know who you go too though and how they do. I am going to have to go in a few weeks.
