I came to realize recently my intercooler pump wasn't pumping so I checked the 10 Amp Fuse and it was good, then I pulled the Pump Relay and made a jumper and Wa La the pump she was a pumping again...
It appears my original relay was physically damaged and I can only assume it hasnt worked for the 9 months I've been driving it :smash:
The relay is in a fuse box under a cover with nothing near it so this damage had to come pryer to me owning it cause I never had the cover off.
Question now is when I went to Auto Zone they had no listing but had an identical pinned 5 pin relay in stock for a "Flasher" I picked it up just to see if it would work and it does except it's taller so I cant get the cover back on
(no biggy while I wait for the replacement to come I ordered on line yesterday).
Now I just want to make sure the cracked one I took out was the right one to begin with since thats what I ordered on line last night
I took out a FOAB-14B192-AA
Currently I have a EP27 12 Volt 5 Terminal Electronic Flasher in there and it's working (just taller than the original)
I thought maybe the original cracked due to heat but looking at it it's clear to see it was hit with something and damaged, it's even missing a little chunk out of it. Again it makes me wonder if my intercooler pump has worked EVER since I've owned it
I guess the good news is IT'S WORKING NOW
