I got bored today, Again

Yes We all know I do some weird things when I get bored.

So, I figured I am broke so I can't buy new shit, I might as well use the stuff I already have.

This is what I started, not done yet.

I had 2 cameras, so I removed the one I fabricated to fit in the factory trunk keyhole.

Reinstalled the plate cam I had.

Then I started what I planned before, the front camera.

Not bad, still needs a few tweaks, but it got dark.

Removed lower grill, it just pops out, took 10 seconds.

Where the Camera is going

Camera in place. needs a little TLC to be considered done.

Lower grill all back together with camera installed.

Tomorrow is the fun part. Wiring it up. I have a little secret that I am not telling until it is done. Should be cool if it works out.

Ok for the 5 people that read this. I am almost done.

I did my own version of membrane switch, without all the headaches.

I had some 12v wireless receivers and remotes floating around, so that's what I am using to turn the front camera, ambient lights, and something else.

here are the pics, not done yet, still need to get my billet cup holder thinger.

Drilled 1 1/8 hole then used a hot iron to trace around where I had to shave the thickness about 5/16".

Fits ok, not worried since I am getting the billet cover.

I dabbed some paint on it to see if I could blend it.

Didn't like it, back to gray, for now.

All installed, still needs some sanding, but I started to get rained on.

Let me know what you think. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve.

No protection needed. I am not super impressed with the image, so I am probably gonna change it out.
