from carb to fuel injected

i was wondering since im thinking of doing this, and wonder if is worth it. how hard , and how expensive would it be to convert from a carburator to a fuel injected motor?

It would not be to expensive if you find a wrecked car. I would think your ECU would be the most expensive if you bought new. Also lots of wires but overall I think it would be worth it. With all the different temps and differents elevations, it becomes a hassle tuning your carb daily. I would say look around a bit cause It would be very expensive if you went all new parts.

yeah i was thinking i love carbs but they are always messing up, and im don't know much about them, and i always got a car that keeps stalling on me thanks for the input

im carbed also, do wat i did graba carb book learn about it and ull get the hang of tunning ur own carb during different weather.

it takes a lil time but mess with it after u learn wat does wat on a carb adn then mess with it go around the block adn repeat untill u get it to where u like it.

x2 go to sk speed and buy a holley carb book and read thru it a few times. Theyre pretty simple and reliable once you can figure out how to tune them correctly.

if you wanna switch to fuel injection you need upper and lower intakes, harnesses, dist, sensors, injectors, and all that crap.

yeah i would say the wiring would be the most expensive...its costing me about 300 for the computer and harnesses for my 4cyl swap.
