Ford Racing has enginered a new intake maniforld for the modular V8

Ford Racing Engineers in their infinite awesomeness are in the process of developing a new intake manifold for all of the Ford modular V8's. This intake manifold is not expected to make any horsepower but instead is designed to up the RPM redline from the previous 6,500 to a new 7,500 rpm redline. This new manifold which looks to still be in development is going to run around $650 and should debut at your local Ford Racing store late this fall.

hopefully its a decent power increase for $650... there are better places to put that much $$$$$$

Its not supposed to make any power but instead you can put in new cams valves etc. to utilize that extra boost in rpms. New Sig? looks nice

thx.... charge motion plates will take care of the extra air for the cams.. $650 will be much better spent somewhere else...
