Want to start putting feelers out: I'm selling my '04 after Christmas. If not you- do you know someone who is looking?
Car located in Orange County, NY.
PRICE FIRM... It's what I owe the bank... Not looking to make money at all on this car, just to get rid of it at a fair price. I paid almost 10K for it two years ago.
Selling because I want to get out of the scene for a while, and want to get rid of a payment.
Quick details:
*2004 GT
*Silver exterior/charcoal cloth interior
*Exterior 7/10 (both bumpers rough... 65 year old man had it before me, small paint bubbles on d/s 1/4 panel in front of wheel lip and down by the rocker... rest of body very clean/presentable)
*Interior 8/10 (cleans up nicely; cloth seats)
*Some surface rust underneath but nothing is rotted. It has been a northeast car its whole life.
*I am second owner, still have copy of CT title from prior owner
*Stock except for Steeda cat-back and Pro 5.0 shifter. This is NOT one of those cars that was modded and returned to stock before sale. Both parts will go with the car.
* Trans still tight, shifts smoothly, just typical 3650 notchiness. Does what you want it to do.
*All 4 tires recent, less than 5K miles
*Moog balljoiints and tie rods and alignment less than 5K miles. Done by Derham Frame/Axle in Newburgh, NY.
*Front pads, rotors, calipers less than 10K miles
*#4 cylinder has been Timeserted due to spark plug ejected. Repair done by Sunshine Ford of Newburgh, NY, have receipt to prove it. This is a Ford-approved repair, in fact Ford recommends it. Look into this if you're unfamiliar.
*103K miles
*Never wrecked
Downside:
*Occasional, intermittent vibration through steering column at 45+ mph.
*Typical Mustang myriad rattles.
* Minor clunk in front end going over bumps. I believe it to be a bad strut mount. Good thing I used the stock ones when I replaced the struts... duhhhhhhhh
*Could use new headlights
Give it a good spit-n-shine and it won't embarrass you at local cruise-ins.
