I pulled 2 codes off my sisters car. 1 was because she has a fuel leak that I know is there, just have to fix the rubber seal from the filler neck.
The other is a P1260 which is theft detected, vehicle disabled. How does this happen?
My only guess is that her battery was dead today and the puter thought it was an attempted theft and threw the code. I booseted the car, found the drainage problem and cleared the code.
Just wondering if anyone else came accross this. Just strange.
