It’s been roughly three months since Classic Recreations unveiled their much anticipated Shelby GT500CR in what was a move to provide an ‘Eleanor’ inspired car that took various stylings from the movie car but built on them in their own unique way and now in what is a sign the company’s has grown two-fold they are introducing three new models.
The new models, all convertibles, range from intro model through to a no-expense-spared high performance model though all offer 427 C.I Crate Engines and much like the current GT500CR all cars are hand-built at their Oklahoman facility. And the important thing is each vehicle is recognised in the official Shelby Worldwide Registry. Pricing starts at $US119,000 for the Intro model and up to $US199,000 for the Venom model.
So far no dates have been mentioned as building hasn’t commenced and Classic Recreations appear to still be in the planning phase. Stay tuned for all the info as these new models come together.
