Brake problems on a 97 cobra

ive been having a weird noise coming from the brakes when i got in reverse only and i tap the brake i hear a loud clicking sound even if i tap the brake alot it just keep clicking loud till the car slows down...if im going forward it doesent make a sound but yesterday after i washed my car i realized that i have to hit my brakes harder then usual to slow the car idk why maybe i need a brake booster??? the brakes r brand new i just put them on: ssbc turbo slotted rotors and hawk hps pads with stock calipers

how far have you driven with them they need to bed in still maybe

they got at least 500 miles on them..there definitly broken in they just dont feel right..im just gonna have to take them apart

has it done it before the pad swap , if yes check the susp bushings for binding and whatnot ,if no the pad may me missin a shim that prevents pad walk in the saddles

I once had a set of non-vented, cross drilled rotors from Baer that every time I applied the brakes it would make a rattling sound (similar to when a kid put a playing card close to the bicycle's wheel spokes). But your rotors are slotted, not corss-drilled so I don't think that is the problem.
Like mentioned before, check your anti-rattle clips, and make sure your anti-moan bracket is not loose.
