While no Whipple owners that own a stock TB inlet can upgrade to a single blade for more flow and in turn hp/tq....we do have this option....the BBK 65MM twin blade. I will be uploading a video later to disprove all the myth's that ive seen about these TB's...sticking, idleing high, running bad.....IMO if you dont know what your doing thats what may happen...mine idles just like stock and i have the video to prove it all....alot of people said you also couldnt use the stock inlet....again if you use your head you will figure out how to make it work....here's the pics and install, video will be up soon.
In speaking to a few tuners that are friends im looking @ a 2psi increase at my given pulley combo by opening up that huge restiction that was the 900cfm flowing stock TB....in doing that my BBK now flows what the whipple does, 1300CFM !!!!!! Im thinking we will top 650rwhp as is with no other modification other than a tune tweak to dial it in with the extra airflow....im going to get out to Mustang Magic as soon as the roads and weather clears here in the north east. Regardless it woke the car up tremendously and it idles JUST AS GOOD AS STOCK !!!!!
as promised the video
