If you are looking to upgrade to a 9" rear end for your mustang, look no further. An entirely new setup from Currie, the only setup that bolts right in with ZERO modification to your stock or aftermarket suspension, body, and brake components, will cost you $2876.25
If you take my deal here, you could walk away with a 9" Currie rear end for $2150, a savings of $726.25. Price is always or best offer! Shipping is not included in the price.
Here is a new setup from Currie, including a Tru Trac differential, and your choice of gears, since they don't charge you for whatever gear ratio you select.
Part #: CE-FDM0507X
Price for Housing and Axles Only: $1,349.95 ($799 for the housing and $550 for the axles)
Center Section: $1526.30
• 3rd Member: 9+ TrueTrac
• Brakes: Reuses stock brakes, retains ABS
• Gear Ratio: 4.11
Total Price:
$2876.25
My center section needs a new Differential. I had a Tru trac in it but its stuck in a locked position. It works fine for straight lines, but doesn't unlock for turns, so like a spool, makes a popping sound. A new Tru Trac costs from Currie: 9" 31 SPLINE DETROIT TRUETRAC $599.95
I am asking $600 for my center section. When you add in the price of a new, replacement Tru trac, the cost would be $1200. That is a savings of $326.30 if you were to buy it new from Currie. Or put a spool in there for $250, and save $676.30 off the cost of new center section alone.
I have the 31 Spline axles to go with the car which are in 100% perfect shape. As you can see the splines are perfect, and they come preinstalled with 3" studs. They also include the ABS toner rings to retain ABS control in your car.
You can't get a more bullet proof rear end setup than what is being offered here, for cheaper than I have it for.
Any questions, please feel free to ask!
