So I researched a few hotels for the Road Knights show on Sept. 20th since it's a little bit of a drive for us 518 folks. There are two prospective hotels. Both of which we would need AT LEAST 10 ROOMS booked to recieve the rates listed below. We could either all meet up Saturday afternoon to cruise to the hotel together, or just meet there. Maybe grab some dinner and get the cars ready for the show.
The first hotel is the Peekskill Motor Inn .... Not the nicest of hotels there, but it's only two minutes from the park. The rates are as follows ... pretty expensive for a sub-par hotel
1 queen bed - $116 plus tax
1 king bed - $125 plus tax
2 double beds w/terrace - $134 plus tax
The second is a Residence Inn in Fishkill. Mapquest says it's 28 minutes from the park (18 minutes in mustang time? lol) and the rate is $89 plus tax for either a king size or 2 double beds. Much nicer hotel and even though it's a little further away, much cheaper.
We'd like to have a list together by AUGUST FIRST at the latest so I can let the hotel know. Once the rooms are blocked off, you can call the hotel and give them your payment info, or you can pay me and I can just give the hotel a list of all our names.
This could be a fun event to cruise to together, even if you are not entering the show and only going as a spectator.
***REMEMBER THESE RATES ARE ONLY GOOD IF WE HAVE 10 ROOMS FILLED SO TELL EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO GO TO POST BACK ON HERE OR PM ME WITH A DEFINATE YES OR NO AND WHICH HOTEL THEY PREFER.***
