302 swap to 351?

HI DOES ANYONE KNOW IF a stock 302 intake manifold WILL fit on a 351 windsor?

I don't believe it fits. The 351 is wider.

I know a few people use 351 intakes on 302's.. but y would you want to do that, it will restrict so much air flow.

A 351 intake will NOT fit on a 302 or visa versa. The 302 has an 8.2" deck and the 351W has a 9.5" deck (most, some have a 9.2"). The difference in deck height makes the top of the engine wider on a 351W.

Ahhh, understood. Yes it will but it's pointless. I believe the O.P. was talking about swapping the whole intake from a 302 to a 351W which will not work.

I tried telling my dad that. He said he gave a 351 carb'd intake to a guy with a 302 and said it worked. I asked him how it could work if the 351 is wider and he said it would still work. I don't know... LOL.

im pretty sure edlebrock makes manifolds for 351 also they make a oil pan swap kit for 351 motors to fit in a fox i think mustangs unlimited carrys it
