Soon Ford will be placing this new S550 into production. The 2015 S550 is doing well in sales. The last Model to bear the Shelby name was built by Shelby America, an S197. There will be two versions of this design , with one version bearing the letter "R". Will these new models do just as well as the 2015 has done. The Shelby name carries a long history. This new model , with its 500 plus hp 5.2L naturally aspirated engine says "BEAST" then add the "R" spec model. The number produced on all areas is supposedly fantastic.
