Most notable is an updated version of the current steering wheel featuring additional controls, most likely for an expanded infotainment system using MyFord Touch. A paddle shifter can be seen hiding behind the steering wheel as well, meaning that drivers won’t have to use the awkward SelectShift toggle mounted on the gear selector in place on the current model.
The spy photos also show the 2015 Mustang’s newly designed instrument panel. Of particular interest are a dash-mounted start button, controls for cooled seats (a Mustang first), and a row of toggle switches including one for traction control.
Finally, photos of the rear seats show newly sculpted buckets sans head rests as well as a first look at the new rear 3/4 window that looks to be smaller and more angular in design.
