1966 Sprint Back Windows

I have a 1966 Sprint. On the back windows the arms keep popping out of the track. It appears the previous owner had issues as well as there are a lot of leftover little clips and the plastic roller. Before I order new ones from NPD I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. It happens with both windows. Tracks don't appear to be bent, no rust. Also any suggestions about maybe putting a little grease on the tracks if so what kind.

Hi,
This is fairly common, I would say yes to ordering new rollers and clips. That said I would also check and clean the tracks, as well as (especially) the rear window regulator and tracks. I have seen many times where 40 plus year old grease build up can cause binding,this puts a lot of strain on the rollers and makes them pop.I would also inspect areas for any surface rust ,clean that up as well and check the joint in the arm coming off of the regulator, sometimes that binds usually from lack of lubrication,sitting,etc. Once the pieces are cleaned up White lithium grease seems to do the trick,that's what I've been using for years on window tracks and such.
