street car which intake...holley systemax...trickflow track heat..or my gt40 ported?

intakes make HP in that they effect the volumetric efficiency of the engine just like head design and cam selection. put another way, intakes effect the volumetric efficiency of the motor, how much volume of air relative to the actual displacement (which is volume) of the motor that it can pull...

what should i do for 100% street driven suspension?

Fms sells a stock uca with the upgraded chassis mount rubber bushing. The axle mount bushing can be replaced by rubber bushing as well, I think I got mine from max motorsports along with the tool to change them out

what should i do for 100% street driven suspension?

Oh or forget the uppers and get a torque arm instead or go with a three link setup. Bothe will need a panhard rod

what should i do for 100% street driven suspension?

Right. For a street handling suspension i'd use the stock uca. Replave the bushings if they're degraded. The 93 cobra came with a slightly stiffer rubber bushibg that is good as well.

what should i do for 100% street driven suspension?

Yes sorry aka kmember brace. I think all of them are pretty much the same, there's not much to it. I have the old kenny brown 4 pt version but its been sitting in my basement waiting to be modified since it no longer fits between the t56 tranny and th milodon oil pan blah!

what should i do for 100% street driven suspension?

G load brace goes underneath and braces the cross member rear of the engine either with 4 points or 2 points. Relocating the rear control arm pickup on the axle mount is achieved with mounting plates. Mine has a panhard rod integrated with it. In all honesty its just easier to use the cspring...

what should i do for 100% street driven suspension?

agree, leave the stock sway bar alone, there's plenty of stiffness in there for a street handling car, just replace the bushings with urethane pieces. 1) always start with chassis stiffening, SFC, g-load brace, strut tower brace. 2) i run the FMS C-springs up front and stock GT springs in...

    Who makes the best supercharger

FYI, here's an old sticky post on forced induction. Definitely depends on what your goals are for. For a street car with a manual, I would agree, nothing like the instant boost, low end torque of a positive displacement supercharger like a KB, whipple, etc...

    Traded 335xi for new 5.0

Thanks for the comments. I think BMW 3 series has been one of the benchmarks for refinement and handling so its nice to see this kind of comparison. As you drive the new 5.0, if you notice any other comparative (purely subjective obviously) between your former bimmer, it would be nice to hear...
