Decreasing the size would make the pump spin faster waldo. For less resistance a larger,less speed would limit the fluid being pumped causing harder steering. I could be wrong, but more fluid should cause faster response. Less woukd be slower but risk of damage to the starving pump.

Sorry, misread the pulley in question. A larger p.s pulley will cause stress on the pump due to the slower revs. This may cause premature failure of the pump. It there is play in the wheel and squishy, I woukd check the rack. Just assumptions at this point. Will do some research for ya.

What do you want to know? I have installed kenne bell, paxton, procharger, cams..... It is a roots style supercharger, the kenne bell is a twin scre and the Paxton/procharger are centrifugal. Need a specific question and please do not ask "which one is better"?

Hey Russ, there is not a drag strip at Carlisle. It is a show. Mustang week has the autocross and drag racing. Carlisle will have 9 second cars in full race trim, but just to show off, not to race.

Through my research you should have a 28 spline. Only the cj came with 31. With a 4 sp I would suggest a 331 rear, nice cruising. I will do soke more research and see what I find.

Has the car been outside in the weather? If so, check the passenger side footwell for water. If it is wet, then the sjb (fuse box) got wet. Usually the locks and lights act up first.
