Its def a toy Stu. A nice one though lol. I like the 96-98 Cobra's a lot, but can't see spending $7,000+ on a car that's not only stock, but also has higher miles, and is 15-17 years old.

Figures...........u seem to also appreciate GM. LS1 Camaro/Firebird. Ram AIR That engine was a GM work horse 300 plus HP.

Those ls camaro's and firebirds are fast but with half of the motor buried in the firewall, they are not fun to work on

You can pay $7,000+ if you want for a stock car lol. I won't. Plenty of nice ones out there with quite a bit done for less or just slightly more. Just look at the MMR built stang for $9,000 she's built and ready for boost. Capable of up to 1,000hp. And just because someone doesn't race doesn't mean they like stock cars or slow cars lol. And I'm also not one to pay money a lot for a car that's not worth it. If you wanna buy a stock GT for $7,000 then be my guest bud lol.

I know Rich, but I don't mind. I've dealt with LS1's before and LT1's which were just as bad. Its challenging ha ha, but you get use to it. Nothing is as big of a pain as carb motors for me anyway. I'll never go back to dealing with them lol.

Condition of the car? Yes, I do as well. But I still won't pay a lot for a car with high miles that's stock. Especially when you don't know how that car has been driven. And that's true, but I know all about the cost of parts bud, I am not new to Mustangs, nor am I some young kid. I've owned 9 Mustangs and 5 Camaros, and have done lots of work on them. Therefore I know all about value, what to look for, etc. That MMR is a hell of a deal. A stock mustang shouldn't cost more than $5-6,000 if it has 50,000 or greater miles on it. As far as what you paid I don't know, but last year a guy had a KB 2.6 charged 03 GT with 29,000 miles, a Tko600 6 speed, and a CHP 5.1L Stroker kit w/ forged Mahle pistons, Manely rods and crank. I can't remember the power but it was 550 something. And he had receipts, along with dyno sheets. He was asking $12,900, but it still sat for around a month, then he dropped it to $9,800 stating he was moving soon and it was gone within a week. Makes me wish I'd been looking for one at that time.

No I wasn't offended bud. I was just saying I won't pay more than what a car is worth. And to me a stock GT with 100,000 or more miles just isn't worth more than $5,000 as its motor has more than likely been beat on and is better than halfway out lol. I've seen several for $5,000-6,000 with around 50-60,000 miles so I laugh when I see 6ers selling for $8-9,000 when they are worth maybe 3-4,000 tops even with low miles. But Yea yours is def nice bro. I just want a nice car myself. There's honest people then there's the junk mobiles too lol, and of course lots of overpriced crap.
